Explore a variety of yoga practices to help you live a more whole and conscious life.
Whether you're joining me for a few hours, a day or an entire weekend, I design my retreats and events so that participants have the opportunity to explore a variety of yoga practices. These practices may include: vinyasa, yin, pranayama (breathing) and meditation.
What does living a whole and conscious life mean to me?
One of my teachers used to say that 'yoga teachers are great at saying stuff that sounds nice, but lacks meaning.' I've taken that to heart and try to make sure that what I say and write - is what I'm working to achieve. I want to help people live a life that is complete with all the things they love in a state of awareness. The best way I know how to do this for myself is to create an internal practice of awareness. For some people that's meditation, for others it's lots of movement, whatever the case is for you, by tuning in, we can start to cultivate an inner environment that reflects the life we want to live outside of our practice.
As we become more conscious or aware of our internal landscape, we build the intelligence to live from this space when we aren't practicing on our mats or cushions, and in this way the practices of yoga can be transformative and life changing.
